Advisor: Prof. Woocheol Choi
Period: Jan. 2022 – Dec. 2022
Overview
Engaged in undergraduate research on optimal control theory and its modern extensions, combining classical control methods with machine learning and data-driven approaches.
Contributions
- Studied theoretical foundations of optimal control, including Kalman filtering and model predictive control (MPC)
- Explored machine learning approaches such as contrastive learning for control tasks
- Investigated data-driven dynamical systems frameworks, including Koopman operator theory, for applications in control
- Studied the Ensemble-Based Goal-biased RRT (EBG-RRT) algorithm for dynamic path planning and its connection with Graph Neural Networks (GNNs)
- Provided tutoring sessions on GNNs for both undergraduate and graduate students
